Rooms are clean, but the furnishings and look of them are noticeably dated, and there aren't enough power outlets. For a more modern stay, I'd look elsewhere. If budget and dependable service matter more, this Hampton Inn is a good fit. The staff are consistently friendly, and the breakfast and coffee are free. There's also a decent fitness room and pool, free Wi-Fi you can extend, especially if you're a Hilton Honors member, and lots of TV channels once you figure out the remote. It's a solid, accommodating place for a short stay.

Kara at the front desk was full of energy and made me feel welcome. I'm from Wisconsin and a Green Bay Packer fan too, so she cheered the team on with me, even though they narrowly lost. She also helped me get the wonderfully large flat-screen TV set up, all with a smile. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I'll definitely stay again.

We were in Allen for a weekend of antique shopping, and after two nights here, my mom and I were already sure we'd return next year. The staff were so polite, and when we had a small issue, they took care of it right away. The hotel and room were very clean, the pool area was well kept, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. It runs until 10 a.m., which was great for us since we're not morning people. One of the best hotel experiences I've had. Thanks to the team for keeping customer service standards so high.

This was our second visit in two weeks, while my wife and I were dealing with a death in the family. We felt wonderfully cared for during both stays at Coldwater. Hailey & Madelyn did everything they could to help, and the breakfast lady and housekeeping took care of my small requests. Everything was top notch. This little gem is the only hotel I'll stay at. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing y'all again!

Those rooms felt like a trip back to the 1990s, like I'd driven a DeLorean there. They need a serious remodel.
