The heated floors were a hit with my wife, and we liked the tasty breakfast that came with the stay. The hotel has a great location and vibe. I've stayed at other four- and five-star places, and for the price this didn't compare in value, but we still had a really good experience.

Aubergine is one of Carmel's real culinary highlights. The courses and wine pairings are on the expensive side, but the meal was absolutely worth it. The European architecture and peaceful courtyards give L’Auberge Carmel a lovely blend of countryside charm and luxury. I appreciated the rare level of care in the room, the team's interactions and all the thoughtful touches. It was an exceptional stay, and I hope to return soon. ✨

We loved being able to walk to so many cute shops in Carmel. It was our first stay here, and the staff were attentive and very nice. We got an unexpected upgrade from a Courtyard King to a Superior Peek View King. The room was cozy, though street and courtyard sounds sometimes got a little loud. After turndown, fresh, delicious cookies appeared each night. Breakfast was included, and we could eat in the courtyard or have it brought to the room. Parking is valet street parking.

The service was immaculate, and the rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was incredible, and valet parking was a big plus. It has old-world charm, though it isn't your typical relais chateau hotel.

My girlfriend and I spent four nights here for a little Carmel getaway and had a great time. The hotel's right in town, which made the location perfect. We especially liked the views, valet service, morning breakfast and the nightly sweets brought to the room. The bathroom had heated floors and double shower heads, too. We'll be back.
