Colton House Hotel

The reception staff we met were cheerful, kind and helpful. Sila was especially thoughtful: she showed us where to park so we could get to our room easily, then came outside with plastic bags when she saw us with our umbrellas after a rainy walk. The hotel is beautiful, with clean, nicely decorated rooms and lots of places to sit and unwind. Downtown is reachable from here if you have a car. Without one, there are restaurants and a large supermarket nearby that are easy to walk to.

The shower takes a while because the water is so soft, and the bathroom only has built-in hangers, so you can't steam clothes in there. Still, I'd stay here again. The suite was very nice and full-sized, with a dishwasher, silverware, washing machine, full-size fridge and microwave. Parking was convenient, and there's an amazing HEB right next door. The gym was very nice and kept cool.

Short walk to all the fun shops on S. Congress, with a great vibe around the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, the shower pressure was awesome, and there are fun spots all around the hotel to sit and relax. There's also a coffee shop attached. What a fantastic find. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I'd definitely stay again.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like real guests, not just another reservation. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and memorable. Colton House Hotel has beautifully designed rooms, full of warmth and character, and the property has a style that's hard to find elsewhere in Austin. The location made it easy to get around the city, too. Staying here felt like a real treat, and we're already looking forward to coming back.
