The apartment was beautiful and in a perfect location, and for the price I can’t imagine asking for anything better. Ashley gave me the best tour I could’ve asked for. She was so informative and knew the answers to everything I asked, from the complex’s features to recommendations for things to do nearby. She was also such a great person with an amazing personality. I can’t say enough.

Camila at the front desk was lovely and really helpful to me and my partner. We’d just walked in to ask about apartment prices, but she gave us a full tour and made sure we felt heard, welcome, and informed. Thank you so much!

That newest batch of five-star reviews looks questionable to me: some of those reviewers seem to be rating the Muse sister property down the street. I’d also look beyond Crescent Apartments’ South Congress location, which can seem attractive if you’re moving from out of state. Nearby, there are newer complexes 10-15 minutes away that are cleaner, more modern, and cheaper. Here, the mandatory amenities fee gets you a dirty, poorly kept laundry room and an outdated gym. Maintenance is bad too. The parcel lockers were out for more than three weeks, so packages were delayed or lost, and the dumpster is constantly overflowing. Rats and roaches are common around the property, which isn’t surprising. The condition doesn’t justify the rent and fees. I’d avoid signing a lease and use one of Austin’s free apartment locator agents to find something newer and worth the money.

Parking costs $70 a month per car, and broken windows are a frequent sight. The side gates are rarely secured, so anyone can walk into the building. The elevator has also been broken for four months. Management blamed the rain storm, but there doesn’t seem to be any urgency about fixing it. The rooftop has just reopened after four months closed, but it looks unchanged, with old, gross cushions on the furniture. On the second floor, four of the eight laundry machines are broken and seem to stay that way. The room is usually filthy, and the stacked residential washers make the bleach drawer unreachable unless you’re eight feet tall. Trash is left everywhere despite the $31 monthly valet trash charge. Pickups rarely happen, and when I tell management, they say they’ll notify the service, but nothing changes. I lived here for a year and a half and watched the place go downhill considerably. Don’t move here.
