The service at the desk has been poor when I've raised issues, and this hotel has gone downhill since I first started staying here. On one visit I had to switch rooms after finding hair in the bed. Later, I had to check out and back in because of an error on my end that was corrected, but I kept the same room. When housekeeping came by, they left a glass I had in the room and only made the bed. The sheets and pillowcases weren't changed. I could tell because I use Lysol and Febreze, and the bedding still smelled of them. The rooms and beds aren't being cleaned properly; housekeeping seems to rush through the work. They need an overhaul.

We badly needed sleep after being awake for a full day because of work. Our original booking was at the Drury Inn down the street, but daytime construction there made that impossible. The DoubleTree found us a quiet, really comfortable room, and we finally got the rest we needed. The room was clean, and I liked its trendy, distinctive decor. We had a wonderful stay and I'd definitely come back. Thanks for helping us get some much-needed sleep!

The food and atmosphere at the restaurant were nice, and the service was excellent. Our room was super clean and comfortable, with fresh towels every day. Really good stay. We rented a car since getting around Texas without one felt tough to me, especially compared with Puerto Rico, which is about 75 times smaller. The only downside was parking at $26 a day. I hadn't known about that cost ahead of time.

The location felt a little removed from everything, but I'd still stay here again. It's a gorgeous hotel, the nicest Double Tree I've stayed in, with excellent service, a beautiful courtyard, and all the amenities you'd hope for.

We attended a work banquet here for the second year. The bathrooms were sparkling clean, and the banquet wait staff were attentive, clearing dirty dishes and refilling our tea promptly. We'll probably use the venue again next year.
