The Heywood feels like home, and it’s always our family’s first choice when we stay in Austin. The rooms are cozy and quiet, the atmosphere and amenities are great, and the staff are wonderful. There are lots of good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We love it!

The Heywood is lovely and comfortable, and the whole hotel is beautifully put together. They’ve paid fabulous attention to detail, with little perks that aren’t even mentioned in the description. Free parking is worth its weight in gold in Austin. The location is wonderful, and the staff are amazing: warm, welcoming, helpful with recommendations, all of it.

The Heywood has a personal, local feel that you don’t get in many hotels. It’s close to great restaurants, East 6th, the Town Lake trail, and downtown. I loved my night there. The staff were so kind, the room was adorable, and they’d thought of every detail.

We loved staying at The Hayward Hotel. The rooms are so nicely decorated, and there are all the amenities you could want. It’s a place with real charm and character, warm, friendly people, and such thoughtful details that it feels one of a kind. Thank you for being so kind and accommodating when I was really tired. The location made getting in and out really easy, and it’s one of the main reasons I chose The Heywood. My stay was restful and awesome. From the staff’s welcome to the room and accommodations, they had everything in place for a great customer experience.
