Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Airport East by IHG

The true blackout curtain was a big plus, and I liked being able to set both the AC temperature and fan strength. It’s a new, quiet, spotless hotel, with everything stocked in the bathroom and a laminated info sheet in the room. The woman at the desk was very nice at check-in. There was cute decor for an event, a small convenience store area if you don’t want to go out, and free breakfast. There’s a parking lot, and they give you a pass for your dash. 10/10.

The room gave us a clean, spacious place to unwind, and breakfast had a generous, tasty selection. What stood out most was the staff, who were friendly, kind, and thoughtful the whole time. A welcoming, comfortable choice for an overnight stay near the Austin airport.

The hotel is clean, roomy, and in a convenient spot, but the employees are what made our stay. I’ve never had hotel staff be this attentive. The front desk receptionist, Laila, and general manger Ashley worked with is to resolve our issue with kindness and compassion during a difficult time. I highly recommend this hotel.

Emily at the front desk made the stay feel peaceful. She helped me with everything, and even remembered I’d mentioned wanting ice cream when I checked in. When I came downstairs a few hours later and saw a looooong line, she asked for my room number so she could charge it and save me the wait. She was kind and accommodating. The room was very clean, had a streaming option on the TV, and the hotel was quiet, close to a convenience store, and staffed by nice, helpful people. I’d definitely come back, 10/10.
