Everything was close by, the prices weren’t too bad, and the customer service made the stay much better. I plugged my hair straightener into an outlet and the power went out in the room outlets, but the manager at the front desk turned the experience around. I think I’d stay again.

I spent a week here for work and had a great stay. I accidentally went to Hyatt House first, but I’m glad I booked this Hyatt Place. The location felt safer, with fewer homeless people around, and was close to everything. The rooms were plain but comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping came daily, which was a nice surprise. Staff were great overall: Peter helped with the bags, and the front desk was always kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, as it usually is at Hyatt House and Hyatt Place. I’d stay again if I’m back in Austin.

Paul and Jessie at valet kept things smooth and stress-free, even when it was busy. They were quick, friendly, and always smiling, which helped a lot with our group and all our bags during marathon weekend. We were in Austin for the Austin Marathon, and Eli at the front desk made check-in easy, answered our questions, and made everyone feel welcome after a long travel day and race prep. His warmth and professionalism set the tone for the visit. The staff really made this stay stand out. We’ll definitely stay here next time we’re in Austin, and we highly recommend it.

Paul Green found me when I pulled up confused and lost, and made arriving at a hotel I’d never stayed at feel pleasant. He was polite, answered all my questions, and brought my luggage inside and all the way to my room. The valet team downstairs did a great job too. I can only hope the rest of the service this year is just as good.

The breakfast had lots of tasty options and was a 10/10. Shauntoy at the front desk and Anita were so sweet and made the stay special and memorable. The location was great, and the room was really comfortable. I had a very pleasant weekend and would stay again if I’m in the area.
