Hyatt Regency Austin

We checked in yesterday, and Leo at the front desk deserves a medal for guest service. He was friendly and helpful right away, taking care of everything my fiancé and I needed and making this the best stay we’ve had. Our room looked out over the river and city and was amazing. Lunch at Ripple Roots was delicious. That was the best chicken breast sandwich I’ve ever had, and the service was every bit as good as the food. If I could, I’d give the Hyatt Regency in Austin 10 stars.

Loved the area. We were about a 10-minute walk from both downtown Austin and South Congress, and the pool was amazing. The room was gorgeous and felt new. I’ll be back. This is my favorite Hyatt I’ve stayed at. Mikaela, Pablo, and Siannah made the front desk experience especially nice. They thanked me for my status, which I’ve never had another Hyatt do, and upgraded me to a stunning room. There was a conference on site and the restaurant closed for two hours, so they gave me $35 in food credit, plus wine and coffee for the inconvenience. A really nice touch. My only wish is that the hotel had a lounge.

We only got one night here before continuing our trip, which was a shame. We felt completely relaxed, and this was exactly what a vacation should be. The room had everything we needed and an unbeatable view of Lady Bird Lake. Pablo arranged an exceptional suite and made sure our special needs were accommodated. The location was perfect for a short walk to parks and restaurants, and every staff member we met was welcoming and helpful. We’ve stayed at plenty of Hyatt Regency properties, and this was easily one of the best. We’d definitely return on a future Austin trip and highly recommend it.

The river view was a real highlight, and getting around was easy. We could walk downtown or reach the riverside trail, and when we wanted to explore farther, a quick ride was simple to arrange. Our room at the Hyatt Regency Austin was modern, very clean, and truly comfortable after long days out in the city. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful, so everything felt easy. A solid Austin choice if you want a comfortable stay in a convenient setting.
