Roxy and general Manager Benjamin helped me avoid losing my prepaid hotel night after I missed my evening flight and didn’t get in until the next morning. I’d booked through Priceline and was worried the reservation would be forfeited, even though they weren’t required to honor it. They moved it to the following day, which was incredibly kind. The staff were great, and I had a wonderful stay.

The room’s layout worked especially well for me. The sofa and desk area connects to the bedroom, but still feels like its own space, so the room is practical. It was also very clean and had a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. SpringHill Suites by Marriott includes complimentary breakfast, too.

Moses, one of the engineers, volunteered to help with my luggage, and housekeeping was gentle and apologetic when they tried to wake me. September at the front desk and a lady manager gave me plenty of time to sleep past checkout and helped sort out the reservations even though they were at full capacity. I’d arrived from China with heavy jet lag and a back injury, and the hosting company had made major booking mistakes, though they didn’t seem to know that. The location may not be the best, but my experience was beyond pleasant.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the location is good. The gym is open 24 hours, with lots of other facilities. Check-in staff were nice, my room was large and well equipped, and the bed and pillows were cozy. The hotel was in good shape overall. Parking does cost a little.

Leo fixed a booking mistake of mine right at check-in and saved me a lot of money. He made everything smooth and gave me VIP treatment. Somebody should promote him, give him a bonus, a raise, or all three! That’s why I stay here whenever I’m in Austin. My colleagues stay 100 feet away at the Marriott and pay triple, while I get a suite bigger than their hotel room and enjoy a nice hot breakfast every morning.
