The night clerk was polite and professional, but we couldn’t stand the room. The window was shattered and barely sitting in its frame, the bathroom hinge had been torn out of the wall, and the smell was awful. There were ugly stains on the carpet and linens. We asked three times for a smoking room and still got a non-smoking one, even after checking again. The beds were full size, not the advertised queen size, and they didn’t have a single spare pillow. We paid over $90 and left without even staying long enough to shower. Stay anywhere else.

My husband is a truck driver. When he checked in and paid cash, the clerk charged him a $10 deposit and said he could bring the receipt back in the morning to get it back. The deposit wasn’t listed on the receipt, and when he returned for it, manager Laura said he hadn’t paid a deposit and was just trying to get something for nothing. She was extremely rude and treated him like a criminal. With the money they kept, the awful room cost $80. The shower was plugged, the paint was peeling, and the TV and loud air conditioner were outdated. We’ll never stay at this Econo Lodge or any other Choice Hotel again. They’re giving the brand a bad name. I wonder if anyone cares.

We specifically booked a queen-size bed, but got double mattresses on queen-size frames. The frames stuck out past the mattresses, and we kept banging our legs on them. The bathroom was disgusting. Never again!

It was very cheap, but the hotel was extremely dirty and outdated. When we tried the shower, water collected in the tub. Everything felt grimy.

For about $90 out the door, this felt way overpriced. The non-smoking rooms smelled dank and smoky, and the carpet needs a good cleaning. There were shady trucker bikers hanging around everywhere. All the upholstery was old, worn out, and stained.
