It has a boutique feel that’s cozy and thoughtfully put together, without feeling touristy or chaotic. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and everything went smoothly from check-in through check-out. Bellanca Hotel is right by the water, with everything in walking distance, yet the location still feels peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are stylish, clean, and carefully designed, with beautiful views. It’s a great fit for a romantic getaway or a quiet weekend, and especially nice if you enjoy good-looking spaces and views. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Catalina Island.

The location is great, right at the edge of Avalon’s main strip. We had mixed feelings about the room, which wasn’t well appointed and didn’t have anywhere to sit. The front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating, though the reservations system seems to have problems.

The room was a bit small and noisy, but we didn’t mind. Keanie at the front desk, sorry if I’ve spelled that wrong, was so sweet and proactive. Great location. We’ll recommend it and come back.

My fiancé and I had a great time. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and updated, and the bar made amazing margaritas. The complimentary bikes were a nice bonus. Great location, and we’ll definitely stay again.

The free hotel bikes were a highlight for us. We had a blast riding around Avalon, and the rooftop was a nice spot to watch the sunset. The hotel sits at the quieter end of the main strip, while still being conveniently located. Our ADA room was extra spacious, and the newly renovated space had bright turquoise headboards, modern tiled bathrooms with bright green accents, and a minimalist seaside look with lots of color. You can also order milk and cookies at night. Such a fun stay, we loved it!
