UNIT #416. We were grateful for the late checkout on departure day, and Jeff, the shuttle driver, went out of his way to rescue us after I mistakenly booked a ride to the village instead of from it at the end of a long ski day. He came back up and called to make sure we needed a pickup. Five stars for that. The shuttle schedule is worth knowing in advance. To Beaver Creek it runs 8:05-10:55, 13:00-14:30, and 15:30-16:30, with the last run at 17:30 on Friday and Saturday. You have to download an app and reserve. We could make it work, but with young kids it was stressful worrying about getting back. The Vail shuttle times were only 07:35 and 11:15 going there, then 11:35 and 15:00 returning. The condo has three bedrooms: a king downstairs, plus a queen and two twins upstairs. The photos don't make that clear, so I hope this helps future guests. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook, the firm mattresses were comfortable, and the heater worked well. All three bathrooms had great showers and tubs. It was very clean, with a good washer and dryer, and the humidifier in the closet was a huge help for us Louisiana folks in the mountains. We also liked the beautiful view of Avon, the peaceful quiet, and ample parking. The facility has nice common game room space downstairs and good ski storage. Great location. We'd happily stay again.

The pool and hot tubs were a welcome part of our routine after skiing and boarding, and the shuttle to Beaver Creek was friendly, kind, and helpful. The locker room also made storing our gear easy. One locker fit our boards, a set of skis, and our boots. We rented a gorgeous condo for spring break with plenty of space for the adults and two kids. We learned the owners only rent it a few times a year. We enjoyed the amenities and hope to come back soon.

We stayed two nights in a beautiful, luxurious three-bedroom, three-bath condo. It's in Avon, right at the entrance to Beaver Creek Ski Resort. You can take the hotel shuttle or catch the Elk lot ski shuttle across the street.

I've been coming to Colorado since 2004 and used to stay in Beaver Creek. This year I tried Airbnb and found The Ascent in Avon. We really liked its amenities, security, upscale feel, and location. The only drawback is that there are no balconies. In cold weather, though, who wants to sit outside? I'd definitely consider coming back.
