The Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa

Even though I was there for just one night, I felt at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with soft linens and a cozy bed, and the staff made me feel welcome. It’s close to shopping and restaurants, too. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, and I’d recommend it.

Brandon at the front desk handled a noise issue quickly when another guest’s TV was blaring in the early morning. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and I appreciated that he took care of it. Thank you, Brandon. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location.

The staff were welcoming and seemed keen to help, and room service was good with decent prices. The blackout curtains worked great, too. There are a few maintenance issues: the shower faucet handle was broken, the ice machine on level 2 was leaking, and there weren’t any dog poop bags available. Still, a nice hotel overall.

I was trying to get a clear answer about early check-in or late checkout before booking a stay that was only 36 hours away. It would have been my first trip with my five-month-old daughter, and after a long drive I wanted to know she’d be comfortable. I asked about the policies and any extra charges, but the woman who answered was rude and disrespectful, as if I were stupid for asking. I’ve enjoyed staying at Westin before, so this left a really bad taste. Westin, please train your staff. I’m sure even motels have better people at the front desk.
