Club Wyndham Resort at Avon

You can walk to everything in Avon, and local and long distance buses stop right outside the entrance. The ski gondola is very close, too. It’s a beautiful resort with helpful staff and a great location.

There are a few places to eat within walking distance, including a Japanese restaurant, a sports bar and grill, and Burger King. Inside the condo, I had plenty of room, a big kitchen island that worked for cooking and gathering with family, and a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the curtains kept the light out, and the bathroom had a large glass walk-in shower. The staff made the stay feel special. We got a warm greeting each time we came in, and valet brought the car around quickly with a genuine smile. The resort is beautiful, and the team went beyond what I expected to make guests feel welcome.

We had a lovely stay here. The attention to detail stood out, and this is one of the nicest resorts we’ve stayed at in Colorado.

The facilities are as good as you’d expect, but the people are what made this place stand out for us. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay memorable, and the upcoming award of excellence seems well deserved. AJ the concierge, Oscar the head valet, and Monica & Butterfly at the front desk/guest relations were particular standouts. We’ll definitely return to our new favorite resort.
