The pool was clean, well kept, and a nice place to unwind. My room was comfortable and clean every time I’ve stayed, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive. I’ve had a great experience here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it!

The front desk called after checkout to tell us we’d left our apple watch behind, which saved us a lot of time and panic. We’d booked two rooms for a three-day event, and the staff were helpful throughout. We put out Do Not Disturb placards to skip maid service, but when I asked, the woman at the desk happily replaced our towels. The rooms were clean, and the refrigerator held three days’ worth of leftovers and snacks. The AC worked great, unfortunately for me and fortunately for my companions. The indoor pool was popular too. The location felt safe and was near fast food like Starbucks and McDonalds. My main complaint was the shower: it never got hot, only warm, and the old style knob took longer to figure out than you’d want first thing in the morning. There was coffee near the front desk, but no hot water, so I couldn’t make tea.

We’d been fine for a couple of nights, with no problems with staff or other guests, until checkout day. We tried to book another night through Expedia, and it looked like the extra night had been added. Shortly after checkout time, the owner called asking us to leave. I explained that we’d booked another night and said I’d check online to see what was happening. She told me the booking hadn’t gone through. When I said I’d booked an hour before checkout, she got upset and said we had five minutes to get out. Her attitude got ruder, and she said I wasn’t wasting her time. I didn’t hear what she said after that. I interrupted, then hung up instead of answering in kind. My girlfriend was treated poorly by the front desk clerk and maintenance person when she tried to discuss it. **UPDATE:** We have never stayed at your motel before, so thank you for publicly lying in your reply. Now I also consider you untrustworthy, along with unprofessional and extremely rude. You could have contacted us privately, apologized, and tried to make things right. Depending on how that went, I probably would have deleted the review or mentioned that you’d fixed things and recommended the business. Instead, you made up a lie to justify your actions and mistreated us further. All you needed to do was tell us the payment hadn’t gone through. We would have contacted the service online and sorted it out. I’m done with this issue. Your lie is as good as admitting you were wrong; otherwise you could have just been honest. The thing I still can’t get over is how disrespected my girlfriend felt after we left, and the way a maintenance man spoke to her. I’ve had guest services training, and in four years of management I never lied about a situation or denied that an employee was wrong. As far as I know, I managed to make things right with every guest.

The receptionist was very nice when we checked in, and the room looked almost renovated, so it was quite nice. There’s also a pool and jacuzzi, though I didn’t use them. The AC was so noisy that I couldn’t sleep well, even with my ANC earbuds in. Worse, I got poked by a toothpick under the sheet. I usually always leave tips for the room cleaners, whether a hotel or motel is good or not, because I want to support them. This time I didn’t leave one because of that toothpick. **Update:** I couldn’t reply to the owner, so I’m answering here. We booked under my partner’s name, Vergani. I said “couple,” so you should have asked me for the booking name instead of saying we’d never stayed at your hotel. The room was 202. I hope that helps you find the record.
