La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bakersfield North

The staff fixed our room key problem right at the front desk, before we’d even left. The room was a letdown, though. Someone had left the window open, and smoke from outside got in. It felt cramped, the AC was loud, and there was no TV paper guide. There wasn’t an ice machine on our floor, which was a big bummer. Breakfast was average, neither bad nor great, and another waffle machine would help. The bathroom was the best part, immaculate, with good water pressure and temperature. I also forgot to mention there wasn’t a real comforter, or extra sheets or pillows in the closet like there usually are.

The room was quiet and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making the place feel like home. Jordan was amazing. I’d love to stay here again on my next visit to Bakersfield. Keep up the good work!

Elizabeth and Veronica were friendly, personable, and great to talk with. The staff showed so much courtesy, kindness, and compassion. There are plenty of food options nearby, though the area can be a bit noisy. I also appreciated the pool and hot tub as a way to relax after traveling. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Everything felt clean, from the spotless room to the fresh-smelling halls. Check-in was easy, and the location made it simple to get to restaurants. Coffee and good creamer were available around the clock, and the amenities were great. A perfect Bakersfield stay.
