Sandra made my stay at The Inn at the Colonnade memorable. She welcomed me warmly at check-in and suggested local restaurants and unusual things to do for a more authentic Baltimore experience. When I had a few hours to fill before leaving on checkout day, she offered to hold my bags so I could explore without carrying them. That small kindness made a big difference. Her professionalism and willingness to help were outstanding. I had a great stay here and highly recommend it. If Sandra happens to welcome you, you’ll be in good hands.

The staff were very nice, and the hotel was clean. There were also several problems: in one room the toilet kept running unless you took off the lid and adjusted the float, another room’s exhaust fan didn’t work, and a third had no hot water. There was no lunch available, and the vending machines were empty or out of order. Then at 7 a.m., a male guest on the third floor was naked, running down the hall, pounding on doors, and scratching room doors with a knife. He scared my MIL to death. I believe he was arrested. Thank God we don’t need to stay in Baltimore again. The staff were nice and the hotel was clean, so, B’more careful out there! lol

I’m writing this on my last night here, and I absolutely love the place. Everyone has been so helpful and nice since I checked in, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. My room is awesome, with lots of space, a king-sized bed, a desk, and plenty of flat surfaces. I always end up spreading my things everywhere, so that’s great. I’m here because it’s right next to JHU. Downtown might sound a little far away, but it really isn’t.

I stay here for work for six weeks at a time, and it’s always a pleasure seeing the staff every day. They feel like family. The front desk team are wonderful and help with whatever you need, from laundry to the restaurant. Such lovely people at The Inn At The Colonnade, and a fantastic place to stay while visiting JHU. Five stars!

The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. It’s a beautiful hotel on the Johns Hopkins campus, an ideal spot for anyone visiting. Bruce at the front desk deserves a special shout-out. He always had a smile and called the elevator whenever I walked in. Such a caring guy, and he made the stay even better.
