Hampton Inn & Suites Flint/Grand Blanc

The pool area was clean and not too crowded, and housekeeping was great about bringing us what we needed. Rebecca at the breakfast buffet kept everything clean and well stocked, and the kids called her “the real queen.” We’d definitely stay again, but would book through the hotel next time. I’d booked on hotels.com, and the app had oversold a room, which made check-in less than ideal. Nick at the front desk was extremely helpful, found a way to accommodate my husband, our three kids, and me, and made sure we were happy.

We spent two nights there at the end of December 2025 and enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, the bed was decent, and the shower had strong pressure with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was great, and the pool, hot tub, and workout room were all nice. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel and stay again.

Cooper and the head of housekeeping, whose name might have been Katelynn, were incredibly helpful after our stay. I realized my debit card was missing the next night when I got home, and they found it, called me, and offered to mail it or shred it. I chose shredding, and they took care of it, which was really reassuring. We’d arrived with a small bridal party on a busy Friday after the hotel across the street unexpectedly canceled our booking and sent us to this Hampton. They couldn’t find our name at first, which was frustrating, but Cooper made a call and got us a very nice room at a very good rate. The room was clean, staff were great, and breakfast was fresh and hot. Thank you both.

The room was spacious and clean, but there was no shampoo in the shower, so I had to wash my hair with shower gel. We were in town for a wedding, and three other people said alarms in their rooms went off between 5 and 6:30 a.m. Refilling toiletries and making sure alarms are off should be part of cleaning. The pool was nice, though the towels were tiny, more like hand towels, and I needed two or three to dry off. They weren’t big enough to wrap around me. I skipped the hot tub because the water barely moved and had an oily film. Four out of five, not the worst hotel but not the best. I’d probably stay again if I had to, though it wouldn’t be my first choice.
