It reminded me of the motels from my childhood, with a modern touch, and I enjoyed my short stay. The room was simple but clean and tidy, and I found it comfortable and charming. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of them said the hotel had been remodeled recently. If I’m in Bandera again, I’ll stay here.

The room had a comfortable bed, cold AC, and a clean bathroom, and the location was excellent. The top cover had a makeup stain, though the other bedding looked clean. It may not have come out, but seeing it was a turnoff and made me question the rest. There was no TV service, and no smoke detector, which should be a priority in an old building.

This older style motel has been rehabbed nicely, with vinyl plank floors instead of carpet and a comfortable bed. Management was very helpful when we asked to leave our truck parked there for an extra night while we rode our bikes overnight to Leakey and back the next day. They graciously agreed, and we felt fine leaving it. Highly recommend, and thank you!

The room was in awful condition and felt gross, and the fresh paint gave off a terrible chemical smell. I’ve never before had to leave a hotel and find somewhere else to stay. Getting a full refund took repeated follow-up, though they finally agreed. If you only need shelter, maybe this will do, but don’t come expecting a decent hotel room.

The bathroom was in rough shape: the toilet wobbled and the tub faucet was coming out of the wall. The towels were stained, and the furnishings were old. Fine if you just need a roof over your head, but not if you want comfort.
