Courtyard by Marriott Bangor

The staff here are incredibly kind and seem to genuinely care. Check-in was smooth, and whenever you need anything, they’re very accommodating. Tracy was especially fantastic. She gave me a dinner recommendation and went out of her way to help when I had a room issue, making the move to a problem-free room easy. She’s a real asset to this location, and they’re lucky to have her.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the beds are especially comfortable. I got a great night’s rest. Bangor, Maine, is right nearby, with all kinds of amenities close at hand. The staff are friendly and amazing, and go above and beyond to look after you. Whether you’re visiting or local and need a night’s stay, you won’t be disappointed!

The immediate surroundings aren’t particularly pretty, though the branded hotels nearby don’t seem to have better locations. This spot is convenient to I-95 and the Bangor Mall area, so most things you might need are a fairly short drive away. It also makes a good base for the stretch between midcoast and downeast Maine. The room was comfortably spacious. Courtyard may be a limited service Marriott brand, but the whole hotel team was very kind, welcoming, and pleasant.

The entrance looks nice, but my sink wouldn’t drain. I tried to shave and the water kept building up until the basin would overflow, so I had to keep turning the tap off. For nearly $200 a night, I expected better.
