The king suite was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen, dishwasher, full-size fridge, garbage disposal, and a full set of glassware. I hadn't come across a room with a disposal before. The front desk team, Carrie and Ivey, made check-in easy and were really helpful. This was my first trip to Maine, and although I've stayed at this hotel chain before, the service here stood out as one of my best hotel experiences. The airport was only a quick drive away, and the location seemed convenient. I'd highly recommend it.

We liked the location, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the stay was frustrating. During our four nights there, housekeeping never came by, so we got no fresh linens or coffee. I also found a dirty sock in one of the beds, which made me question whether the sheets had been cleaned before we arrived. The bathroom outlet kept tripping the breaker whenever we plugged something in. We called the front desk several times, but no one answered, so we had to go downstairs to report the outage. I've never had this kind of problem at other Hilton hotels, and this one didn't meet the brand's standards. We won't return.

The kids had a great time in the pool, and we found the laundry room clean and simple to use. Our room was comfortable and clean, breakfast had plenty of delicious options, and all the staff we met were lovely. We stayed in early July and had a fantastic visit. We'll make this our usual hotel next time we're in town.

Sarah at reception made our night in Bangor special. I was in town for work after flying into the nearby airport, and asked about a sold-out hockey game. There were only four single-seat tickets left, so she suggested asking locals about other options, since my coworkers and I wanted to sit together. She checked us in efficiently and then managed to get a pair of season tickets from local people for me and a coworker, with no expectation of payment. Thanks so much, Sarah!
