Stucco Lodge

The room and bed were clean and comfortable, like staying at a friend's home. I booked ahead and had good communication with the owner, who was personable when I arrived and made me feel welcome. The temperature controls worked well, and the shower had good pressure. It was a nice rest before my flight the next morning. I'd highly recommend this place.

The owner was friendly, check-in was easy, and there was coffee to go in the office in the morning. It's just outside the city and easy to find. The room was large and clean, with comfortable beds.

The little fire pit was cute, and though it was too cold for us to enjoy the pool, we had a great stay with my family. Our room was very clean, and the man at the front desk, who I think was the owner, was lovely to talk to. He walked across the yard to bring extra towels and had tucked four chocolates between them. That was such a sweet, thoughtful touch. I wish we'd been able to stay longer and would definitely come back. It gave me a "Schitt's Creek" feeling 😉.

We felt safe in the quiet residential area, where the property was nicely lit at night. We had coolers and other gear on the back of the truck and felt fine leaving them there. Parking right outside the room made loading and unloading easy. Management were friendly and helped us with every special request for the wedding we were in town to attend. The room at Stucco Lodge was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. We didn't have time to use the outdoor pool because of our other commitments, but the stay was so enjoyable that we plan to return for a more relaxed visit. From check-in to departure, it was five stars. Thanks again!
