Bar Harbor itself is a short drive away, or walkable on the pavement, though the road is busy and I wouldn’t suggest walking it in the dark. Acadia National Park was amazing. Our two-night stay was great value for money: the room was exceptionally clean and spacious, the shower had great hot water, and the bed was comfortable. We slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend staying here.

We found the staff friendly, and downtown was an easy one mile walk on nice paths. There’s also a Pita food truck across the street at the college, handy for a quick bite. The motel was nice and modern, and our room was clean. It had a mini split for heating and cooling and a comfortable bed. The small table and chairs were useful, though there was no lounge chair or couch. One catch, the mini fridge has no freezer, so don’t plan on saving ice cream for later.

The deluxe queen room was probably the biggest and nicest one we had on our New England trip, with a great view and comfortable beds. The cleaning staff’s little touches were lovely, and the manager was super nice and welcoming at check-in. Edenbrook is right in Bar harbor, next to the entrance of Acadia NP. We loved our stay and couldn’t recommend it more.

I was here by myself for a wedding in August 2025. The renovated room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with a big TV and mini split. Housekeeping cleaned it thoroughly during the day and replaced the towels and coffee pods. I’d come back and recommend it to friends as a more budget-friendly option.
