Comfort Inn Barboursville near Huntington Mall area

The front desk team was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with a comfortable king bed, four soft pillows, and a roomy bathroom vanity. There were some worn spots, though, including rust and damage on the carpet and wall. The toilet paper had been left on a shelf, one roll open and one sealed, so I used the sealed one since the open roll looked like it had been left by the previous guest. Getting around the property was confusing. It sits outside a mall, with four-lane one-way roads that made both arrival and departure tricky, and we had to circle the building to reach the entrance. The lot also had quite a few potholes. On our stop on 11/21, highway exit construction meant driving 10 miles past the hotel before turning around and taking back roads. That wasn't the hotel's fault, but late arrivals should be aware. The exits were open again in the morning, though the equipment was still off to the side. This was our last night on a cross-country drive, and the hotel felt pretty average. It wasn't a bad stay, but I'd try some other Choice hotels nearby before coming back.
