Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - South

I paid $100 for room 340, opened the door, and found trash everywhere, at least five full bags. The front desk apologized and gave me another room, but as I was heading to my vehicle, the clerk rushed over and said he'd accidentally assigned me a room that was already reserved. I asked over and over for my money back, but he refused, so eventually I gave up and told him to keep it. I felt robbed and was very disappointed with the service. I don't recommend staying here. If you do, I hope you have a better experience than I did.

We stayed in room 117 on the night of July 15, 2025, while I was in San Antonio for work. I would have stayed longer, but the price is too high for what you get, especially with so many service and maintenance problems, including the pool. Our room was filthy: the sheets were dirty and clearly hadn't been changed, and the restroom was dirty too. The whole place seemed in horrible condition, and the front desk gentleman was rude. They only give you a receipt at checkout the next day, not when you check in. The lobby stays locked, so you can't go in or out there and have to walk around the outside to reach the night window.

The front desk staff made this a fantastic stay. They were helpful, friendly, and professional from check-in through checkout. Their efficient service and warm attitude set the tone, and my experience here has always been excellent.

A good, quiet, affordable place to stay. My room was clean, check-in was very easy, and the staff were friendly.
