The Edyn Motel

The office staff were friendly and accommodating, and getting here from the highway was easy. Our room was clean, quiet, and had comfortable beds. It was an affordable stay, and we’d come back if we pass through again.

For a budget motel, this was amazing. It’s completely renovated and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel, even compared with expensive ones. 10/10, recommend.

The location was beautiful, the staff welcoming, and the bed super comfortable. It was great value, and the amenities covered everything we needed.

The bed linens and towels had stains, but they were definitely clean. The bathroom was in pretty good shape apart from a leak, and the staff were friendly. Other rooms might be better, so maybe ask to see yours before committing. At $50 a night, I know something may not be great, but this was still a bad stay for the price. OYO bait-and-switched me into staying here when I’d been trying to book a different hotel closer to town. OYO also seems like a scummy company. If a reservation call switches over to OYO, hang up. There was a huge puddle under the bathroom sink from a leak, and I reported it as soon as I got in. Nobody cleaned it up or dealt with it. It rained overnight, and water came through the roof by the window. I mostly caught it in the trash can. The leak seems to explain the stained ceiling, the AC that didn’t work and seemed shorted out, and why I was sneezing and my eyes itched all night. I found dead bugs in the room, then saw live ones when I turned the lights on during the night.
