Surestay Hotel by Best Western Bardstown General Nelson

The room doors don't latch securely when you leave, so double check that the door is all the way closed. Aside from that, check-in and checkout were quick and friendly, the hotel was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay, the usual hotel spread of eggs, biscuits, waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and drinks. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. They also have a pool, though it was closed for the season.

The gentleman at the front desk was really kind and helpful, and the morning breakfast was hands down one of the best free continental breakfasts we've had. Our room was clean and welcoming, and the bathroom had been nicely updated. Highly recommend. We'll keep staying here when we come back for bourbon trail tours.

Lisa was super nice and made us feel welcome 🙏🏻. The rooms were clean and comfy 👌, and breakfast was nice. I suggest doing some work in the lobby or office, maybe adding a coffee machine and making some upgrades around there.

The staff told me there was an issue and helped me switch rooms. They were really kind and accommodating. The room was clean and nice, and the bathroom was small but comfortable and clean, with a bidet. Parking was a little tight and tricky, but downtown is close enough to walk.
