Star Inn

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and very helpful. I really felt looked after during my stay. It's a quiet, safe place, tucked away nicely, and I'd recommend it to anyone passing through.

After I booked through Hotel.com, he first told me there were no rooms. Then hotels.com called and said there was a room after all, and I had to pay a $100 security deposit. They put me and my kids in a room with bed bugs, and we all had bumps over our arms and backs. I showed them the bug wrapped in a towel, and he told me to leave the hotel with my kids. No refund.

It's a cute little place, and the rooms were nicer than anywhere we've stayed before. The bed's comfort was probably the one thing I'd change. For the price, amenities, and location, it's a great place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Just be a good hotel guest and enjoy your stay.

For $50, I just need a clean bed, working AC, and a door that locks, and this place had all three. Afterward, I stayed at pricier hotels that somehow offered less. It took a bit of fiddling to get the key to work, but they moved me to a different room. The shower did have hot water, though I think the hot and cold pipes may have been mixed up, since it wasn't where I expected.
