We can see they’re working on improvements, but the place still isn’t quite there. We went back to try it again because of the new ski lift, then were surprised when it broke down. We’ll give it another shot next year.

We’ve stayed here many times through RCI, but things seem to be going downhill. On our visit this past weekend, it was snowing and cold, and our unit had only a small AC/heat unit downstairs with no heat upstairs. The heat was off or set very low when we arrived, so warming the lower floor took ages. The front desk sent someone with two space heaters for upstairs, but running both tripped the breaker, so we could use only one. We had a very cold night’s sleep. You can still see the shells where heating units used to be in the rooms.
After more than 30 years with a timeshare here, I’ve lost it because the contract changed. We used to have to pay at least a month ahead, but the new terms require payment a year in advance. The cleaning had been awful on so many visits: food in the pull-out bed, flies in the light above the oven, and poor cleaning in general. I was a loyal customer for over 30 years, but I’ll never come back now. Shame on the new owners.
The gym was a standout for me, much bigger than the ones at most places I’ve visited, and the pools were huge and very clean. It was my first time here, and I was really impressed by how friendly and kind the staff were. They were always smiling and never seemed bothered, and the property was clean and well maintained. We just wished the restaurant had longer hours. It’s open from 3-8 on weekdays and closed Wednesdays. Since it’s privately owned, I can’t fault the resort for that. We also wanted ovens so we could cook more, so bring an air fryer if you stay. That saved us, since there’s no breakfast offered either.
The outdoor hot tub was the main reason we went, but we found a few other nice things along the way. After dealing with the aches and pains that come with feeling older, sitting in the warm bubbling water while the cold air blew down from Attitash made for a remarkable night. Thanks AMV, and thank you to our host Ace.
