We spent three nights at Chalet High Resort in early November, in a spacious three-bedroom place over several levels that we booked for a very reasonable rate. The grounds were cared for and the atmosphere was peaceful. Staff were pleasant, very friendly, and knew the area well. The unit felt outdated, though, and the carpet was filthy. The rugs looked pretty gross but didn’t smell bad. The sweep under the front door didn’t fit well, yet we were glad no bugs came in through the gap, and the rooms were bug-free. Despite those issues, we’d stay again and hope for a unit with cleaner carpeting next time.

Very disappointing. We pay maintenance fees and still have furniture from 1984. Promised resort improvements never happened, or were patched over with refurbished appliances and furniture. It took over 20 years to get mattresses, and the property has gone through 3 management companies. The timeshare is very dated, and the management company is awful and not transparent.

The condo was spacious enough for all 8-10 of us, and the activity center was well kept. The kids loved the pool, the hot tub was nice, and the staff were amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful. But after five days we left, even though we’d booked a week, because we needed a good night’s sleep in our own beds. Bring your own pillows and blankets. I knew from our last timeshare rental in FL that it might be dated. This one had new drywall, carpet, and floors, but the furniture looked straight out of the early 90's and was VERY uncomfortable. Still, it was a very nice, enjoyable stay.

The grounds were lovely and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious, though it could use a few small updates. Some parts of the resort are dated, but that gave it a bit of classic character and the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We didn’t get to use the lovely pool area. We had a positive visit and would consider coming back.
