We had a great location, a spacious room, soft beds, and a quiet night. They’d even provided some of the little things we forgot to pack, and our youngest loved the trundle bed. Phil Hodge, I think that was his name, stayed calm with all the energetic kids around. Ms. Martha was just as impressive near the end of breakfast, when everyone wanted oatmeal and yogurt and a guest spilled coffee. She handled it with a smile. Kudos to both of them, and thank you.

The location takes quite a drive to reach the tourist spots. Our room was clean and spacious, and good value. There’s free breakfast, though it was only okay. The lobby and main floor were under construction during our stay, so that may have affected the service.

Breakfast was spot on, with fluffy eggs, country sausage, and hot coffee. Marby at the front desk was personable and engaging, and honestly the main reason it was such a good experience. I’d do it again.

The room needs renovation, and the hallway lights came through all around our doorway all night. But the smell was the worst part. It reeked of weed mixed with dust and mold, enough by itself to make me never book here again. Looking at the reviews, it seems it wasn’t just us. They should really renovate the room or ventilation system before putting effort into the lobby construction. Breakfast was a bit of a joke too, with a tray of sausage that wasn’t even on.
