The owner greets you himself, and the rate is lower if you book directly, so skip the booking sites. Montalbanos is nearby and worth trying if you're hungry. The motel has an old-school look, but it's been completely redone inside with modern amenities. Such a hidden gem.

The outside has that older motel look, but the rooms inside are updated, comfortable, and very clean. I was traveling alone and felt safe here. Service was excellent, and the price was fair. Definitely don't judge it by its cover.

The owner is very accommodating, and whenever I needed something, people here were ready to help. Housekeeping took good care of me too. The room was clean and neat, with a kitchen, and the price is very affordable. I slept well, the bed and pillows were comfortable. I'd recommend staying here and will be back :)

At 3:30 in the morning, I needed a room right away, and this turned out to be a solid place to land. The interior of the rooms was newly remodeled, and they were clean and safe. The only drawback besides the curb appeal was that there was no breakfast. For cleanliness and service, I thought it beat Comfort and La Quinta. The owner is on site and handled an awkward moment very discreetly. There was a guy hanging out on the sidewalk when I arrived. The owner asked if he was with me. I said no, and he asked me to wait a minute while I finished the paperwork. When he came back with my key, he acted as if nothing had happened. I never saw the sidewalk guy again or saw the owner deal with him, but he clearly took care of it professionally. We'd read the reviews before coming, and the good things people said were true.
