My husband and I skied from opening to closing two days straight, and the skiing was GREAT. Even with Utah having its driest January ever, I was impressed with how good the snow was. The lodge bathrooms were a bonus too: roomy, very clean, with large stalls that make it much easier to use the bathroom while still in all your ski gear.

The slopes were in good shape, and the people working around the resort, especially at the slopes and tubing areas, were friendly, courteous, and helpful. They made a noticeable difference to our visit. The ticketing experience, though, was frustrating. The online system wouldn’t let us buy ahead, and when we got to the counter around 1pm on 18th Jan.2026, the card reader wasn’t working either, so at first we couldn’t buy tickets. Once things came back online, only one time slot fit our preferred schedule. Ms. Manni at the counter also wasn’t helpful, which made an already stressful situation worse. The skiing facilities and most staff were good, but the ticket system and counter service need improvement for a smoother visit.

We got about a dozen tubing runs in, and an hour and a half felt like plenty. The magic carpet conveyor carries people and tubes back up, so getting uphill is easy. The tubes are fast enough to be exciting, but you can, and should, slow yourself by dragging your feet. Kids under 50 pounds can sit safely inside a tube. It was a blast for our family, even without experience.

The snow was beautiful on Friday, with every tree covered, and the week was in the '20s with pretty light wind. We skied Monday through Friday, starting with fresh snow and getting another 8 inches of powder on Thursday while we were out. Conditions are consistently grade every year, and this was another fantastic week at my favorite family ski resort. I bought lift tickets a couple of months early, then loaded them to my ID card through the automated pass system. That meant no time wasted at the ticket office and more time skiing.

Everyone, locals and visitors alike, was super friendly, and the staff deserve hats off. The groomers also did a great job with tricky spring snow, leaving perfect corduroy each morning. Thanks to Brian Head for staying open an extra month so I could drive down from Canada and get four days of really great spring skiing. I loved every second and I’ll be back!
