Comfort Suites University

The breakfast had plenty to choose from: cinnamon roll batter for the waffle maker, yogurt, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, chicken patties, toast, and more. Drinks included coffee, cocoa, milk, orange and apple juice, and water. We had a two-bed room with a bathroom, and the beds were really comfortable. The towels were fluffy, too. Staff were super friendly and answered our questions. When the TV wouldn't work, someone from the front desk came up and got it set up for us. We'd stay again!

Samuel at the desk was wonderful and made check-in easy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it's a nice hotel. A huge parking lot light shone into my room, and construction was still going on even though the website said it would be finished by my stay. It didn't disturb me, though.

The breakfast was nice, and they refilled it quickly after a whole college rugby team showed up. Staff were very friendly and the rooms clean. A few room details could use refreshing, like the toilet handle and water marks on the ceiling.

We found it easily on Google while planning our Christmas road trip, and the suite for six cost less than $100. With teenagers, travel can get expensive and cramped, but this room had plenty of space. It was clean and laid out well, and the pullout couch was tolerable. We had a really nice short stay and would come back if we're in Baton Rouge again. It's not a five-star hotel, but I give it five stars for our experience.
