Ms. Tasha and Kizzy made a real difference during my stay. They were professional, friendly, and very helpful, making sure things were taken care of and I was comfortable. The hotel felt clean and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had a great experience and would definitely come back. Thanks to both of them for their excellent service and positive attitudes.

The receptionist was the one good part of this visit. She was kind, honest, and upfront about the hotel and room conditions. My family and I spent about five minutes on a quick walkthrough before deciding we wouldn’t stay at WoodSpring Suites Baton Rouge Airline Highway. The place felt unsafe and uncomfortable from arrival. People were shooting dice outside and running around the parking lot, making the area chaotic, and the crowd felt …peculiar. Inside, the building smelled unpleasant, and the hotel looked very outdated. The room appliances were old and worn, and the lobby was just a tiny area where maybe 2-3 people could stand, making check-in awkward and unprofessional. At $145 a night, it was severely overpriced. They also charged a $15 cancellation clause fee despite knowing the property’s condition. I made numerous attempts to get a refund but got the runaround instead of a clear resolution. I’ll file a complaint with my credit card company. I wouldn’t recommend this place; there are safer, better options for the price.

My nephew stayed for three weeks and really liked the place. His room stayed clean and comfortable, the hotel was quiet throughout his visit, and he got plenty of rest, which mattered especially given why he was there. Whenever he needed something, Ms. Tasha from housekeeping took care of it right away. Ms. Kizzy was welcoming and accommodating from check-in, and the staff were attentive overall. Great location too, and definitely worth considering when you’re in town.

After traveling all over the world as a United States Marine, I was impressed by how clean the place was and by the hospitality and genuine care during my temporary stay. Ms. Tracy on the evening shift especially went out of her way whenever we crossed paths, asking, "Mr. Larry is everything ok? Do you need anything?" I felt comfortable knowing people there cared, from the service desk and maid service to the friendly maintenance man. Check them out for yourself. I recommend it. Larry Chambers
