Bay Shore Inn

I paid for three nights and woke up covered in bedbug bites. I'm waiting for the local police to get here so I can document that the hotel won't refund me.

The sign says no refunds, and this place ought to come with a warning. For what it costs, you'd be better off moving on. Furniture was broken, mirrors were missing or smashed, there was mold, and the bedding was dirty and burned. It's the most disgusting place I've ever seen. If negative ratings were possible, that's what I'd give it.

The maintenance guy was a huge help fixing a few things in my room. Staff were friendly, polite, and understanding about checkout, too. I can't say anything about the smell since I'm still recovering from Covid.

We nearly drove off when we saw the outside, it looked awful. But the room for our short stay was surprisingly nice and clean, and the bathroom was clean as well. The heat worked well, the front desk person was nice, parking was fine and discreet, and the rates were reasonable. If you're looking for somewhere to spend a few hours, I'd consider it. I was reading reviews before we went too, so I hope this helps.
