Ramada by Wyndham Houma

Our room key stopped working when we came back, and the front desk told us another party had been checked into our room while we were out. We moved so we could get to bed, but the replacement room was much the same. The rooms weren't luxurious, and the quality you can expect is low: broken ice machines, dead room phones, and tiny, dark televisions. One night is tolerable, but I'd choose somewhere else for a longer trip. We thought we'd booked online before arriving, but staff couldn't find the confirmation number. They were friendly and made check-in easier, at least.

The breakfast was terrible. The waffles had no butter or syrup, the eggs were watery, and the sausage was burnt. There wasn't any salt, either. When I asked for butter and syrup, the woman at the counter acted like I was a nuisance.

We found toenails on the sheets and blankets, which were also ripped and burned. The hotel was sooo dirty. We stayed five days and nobody cleaned the room, even though we asked. Then a service woman banged on the door with an attitude, saying we needed to check out so she could clean. Our checkout wasn't until the next day. Never again at this hotel, stay far away!

The staff were great, but the rest felt like a typical $60 dollar a night place. There was trash outside on the ground, drunk people making noise at 2 a.m, feral cats, and a horrible breakfast bar. The rooms need updating.
