After a day out, we came back to clean, comfortable rooms stocked with bathroom essentials and slept really well. Nancy put out a tasty, healthy breakfast in the morning. I stayed at Bill and Nancy's with two friends in summer 2022, and they were warm, easygoing hosts who enjoyed chatting while respecting our privacy. Their character-filled home made getting to Yosemite valley easy. I'd get in touch again if I'm in the area.
We were happy we chose this place, even with the bit of a drive into town. The room was lovely in a historic BnB, and Bill and Nancy were wonderful hosts and fun to talk with. Breakfast was both delicious and healthy.
Nancy made us a delicious breakfast the next morning, with most of the ingredients coming from her farm and garden. My husband and I had a cozy room with its own bathroom, and it was just right for resting after a full day hiking at Yosemite. The farmhouse is in Mariposa, and the hosts were great. We enjoyed our short visit and would likely stay again if we're nearby. I only wish I'd taken pictures! We were there to visit Yosemite national park.
We had a lovely stay on our way to Yosemite after finding the place on Air BnB. Nancy was a great host, and the breakfast was amazing. Would recommend!
There were hardly any cars on the roads when we drove through Mariposa County and around Bear Valley in early February 2021, and the views were stunning. It's a drive we'll remember fondly. We'd like to make the trip again soon and check out the Mariposa Farmhouse.
