I stayed here around three years ago and it was nice, but last weekend was a different story. I didn't even last five minutes. The place is a dump and smelled unclean. The receptionist just sat there looking lazy. The room stank of dog, urine, and weed so badly my nose started burning. I got my family out of there fast. Stay away.

The location works perfectly for us, and I usually stay here at least twice a year. This was the first time I've had anything bad to say. The mattress was much too soft and we kept rolling into the middle. The bathroom fan was painfully loud, and the shower curtain wouldn't stay put. Breakfast was nearly nonexistent on both mornings, and the food area was filthy. They clearly weren't ready for how many guests were staying. I may look for another hotel next time.

The room was roomy, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was hot. I just wish they'd served biscuits and gravy. We had to move rooms because the AC didn't work, and the ice machines on both the second and third floors were broken.

Our ground-floor room was convenient, with easy access to the outdoor dog-walking area. The lobby coffee was available around the clock, which was especially nice. Both the morning and evening front desk staff were friendly and professional. The pet deposit was lower than at some similar hotels.

I've stayed at several La Quinta properties, and this was one of the nicest. Pappedeux is an easy walk across the street and had great food. I'll be back when I'm in the area.
