Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown

This was my second stay, and for a cheaper-than-most hotel, it's a five-star choice for me. The first room had a broken a/c and was hot, but they promptly gave me another room. The remodeled hotel looked current and nice. I like the vinyl flooring and modern paint, and would take those over old, sticky, smelly carpet. I don't care that there's no pool, and I'm fine without breakfast. I didn't try the restaurant, though there's plenty of food a short walk away. My room and bed were comfortable, the shower was fine, and the water was hot. It was as quiet as any hotel, maybe quieter during my stay: I heard one door shut in the morning and that was it. I'll definitely stay again.

We stayed one night after a concert within walking distance, then left the next morning. Parking was easy, the staff were friendly, and the room and bed felt cozy and comfortable. The bathroom door didn't close all the way, and sounds carried through the building a bit, but I was exhausted and slept through whatever was going on around us.

Lisa and Bryan went out of their way to make us feel like VIPs and give us a great experience. My husband and I were in Salt Lake City for a hockey game, and after a rough day I was worried about parking and the location. The Radisson was convenient and had a good dinner option. We'll definitely come back.

The hotel was nice, but the communication was terrible. They charged my card for the full amount even though we'd split the bill, and said the money would be returned in 5-7 business days. Fees hadn't been mentioned at check-in or check-out, and none of this was explained ahead of time so I could make an informed choice.
