Naveed made my stay a five star one. He handled the front desk and breakfast, was friendly, and sorted out the issue I had. Without him, I’d give it three stars. The hotel’s handy, right off I-10, and budget friendly. It’s an older place, but the rooms are nicely furnished, the beds comfortable, and the shower worked well. Breakfast is a bit limited, though even a picky eater like me found something. The real scrambled eggs were excellent. Breakfast could run more smoothly with another employee helping. The room is tight, and a different table base that lets the chairs slide further underneath could make it easier to move around. I’d also love to see potatoes, like hash browns or home fries, with those fresh eggs.

I kept adding another night to my mini vacation and spent time lounging by the pool. Elizabeth and T were so kind and accommodating, even when by day four I was treating the motel like home and wandering to the complimentary breakfast in my night clothes. Road construction was the reason I took a star off for location, but it was still fine being in town. My Door Dasher Conner and UBER driver Britt may be the one asterisk.

Navid at the desk went out of his way to fix my online booking mistake and get us into our room. The rooms were clean, and it’s in a good spot with easy highway access. I’d recommend it.

I arrived to find they’d canceled my reservation because they couldn’t honor the confirmed rate I’d booked several days earlier, since rates had gone up that weekend. Then they tried to charge almost twice as much. Customer service didn’t help, and I had to find another hotel that night. Very unprofessional and unacceptable.

For the price, location, and service, it’d be hard to find a better option. Navid and Elizabeth were amazing, accommodating about our situation and always willing to go above and beyond. They handled the bumps and made me feel like the winner. 10/10.
