For what they charge, I expected a clean, functional, well-kept lodge. Aspenwood Lodge at Arrowhead felt worn out and overpriced. It looks good in photos, but didn’t deliver in person. The building’s hallways have scuffed walls, uneven paint and patchy repairs, giving the place an unfinished, neglected feel. Inside our unit, the furniture was dated, fixtures were loose, and the heating system made odd noises all night. It needs fresh paint, updated décor and basic repairs. There’s no front desk or concierge. Our broken bathroom fan had to be dealt with by an off-site management company, which was slow to respond, so don’t count on help if something goes wrong. The Arrow Bahn lift is technically close, but when it’s closed, which happens often, you’re stuck waiting for shuttles and hauling your gear. That’s not convenient.
