We arrived by train and walked from the station, though there’s a free local shuttle that can bring you to the hotel. The location was perfect, the room was clean, and the shower was hot. The desk staff were very friendly. It isn’t fancy, and the view isn’t exactly of the harbor, though the area is pretty. Still, it was basic but just what we needed for one night before boarding the cruise ship.

Parking was super easy, and the staff were really nice. The rooms are simple, clean, and thoughtfully set up, with a great shower. It’s a handy base between the two ends of town, so you can walk either way, though there isn’t much right outside the door.

The price felt right, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean with fairly new furnishings, though the mattress was just okay. I’d rather have triple-sheeted bedding than the old-fashioned bed covers.

We found the room quiet, comfortable, and clean, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location made it easy to walk to most places of interest in Seward, including the harbor and marina, shops, restaurants, the Sealife Center, and the train station. The free shuttle also stops right outside. We stayed two nights.

Mary at the front desk recommended a place for our wedding, and it was just perfect. Everyone was so warm, helpful, and accommodating, and they made our special day feel easy. We’d absolutely recommend them and plan to come back for our anniversary!
