Holiday Inn Express - Vero Beach by IHG

We didn't end up staying because the hotel's condition made me think I'd get sick. The first rooms we were offered smelled of mold and weed; the second only smelled of mold, and there were visible signs of water damage. The mold odor was really strong, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a weak immune system or who puts cleanliness first. Lindsey at reception was super friendly and attentive to the problems with both rooms.

We travel with my husband often and choose Holiday Inn because we trust the comfort, service, and cleanliness. This location near Vero Beach lived up to what we expected. It was clean and well organized from the minute we arrived, and the breakfast was fantastic, with fresh food and great choices. I also liked the Dove products, a nice sign of quality and care. We'd absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

The outside may put you off, but inside it's really nice and better than expected. The staff were great, the rooms clean, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast had a big selection of both hot and cold things.

We've stayed at two other Holiday Inn properties lately, and this one was the nicest. Breakfast was fresh, appealing, and especially well prepared. The lobby and gym were spotless, and friendly staff greeted us whenever we crossed paths. It's beside a large outlet mall and highway interchange, so it isn't central to downtown Vero Beach, though it's convenient enough. Our room was clean, everything worked well, and the bathroom was fresh and nicely set up.
