The view was the one good thing about our stay. Also, the first two photos shown here aren't of this motel at all. The room was so unpleasant that we slept fully dressed and kept extra clothes over the pillows because I didn't want my head on them or to touch the sheets. There were dirty socks left behind by a previous guest, stained sheets, and flat pillows. I wouldn't stay here again.

The Kern river and mountain views were beautiful, and I absolutely loved this place. The family who owns it are wonderful people, and it really feels like a home away from home. There's also a brewery within walking distance with great food.

I always stay here when I come to KRBC because I can walk there from the motel. It's a lovely little spot right on the river, with a beautiful view. April is nice, the price is fair, and our room had a kitchen plus heating and air conditioning.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I love everything about the place. It's an easy walk to the restaurants and store in town. I think it was room 13 that had a rocking swing and its own patio. Can't wait to go again soon.

The couple running the place were very nice, and the location is great. It's a bit run down and not fancy or especially well maintained. The beds were comfortable, though it wasn't the cleanest. Fine for a rustic night.
