My first vacation in Maine is something I’ll always remember, and this beautiful inn and the kind people who own it were a big part of that. Kelly’s breakfasts were among my favorite meals in Maine, and I’ll always remember her generous hospitality. Our room had a comfortable bed and a great harbor view. Being so close to the pedestrian bridge was a nice bonus too. Thanks, Kelly and John, for everything. I hope to come back soon.

Nightfall Inn was our base for seven nights, in a handy spot on a main road just across the bridge from Belfast Harbor. John and Kelly were warm hosts and helpful with restaurant suggestions and local attractions. The corner green room had a very comfortable bed with nice bedding, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water that never ran out. There was also a handy little guest snack room with a fridge and coffee maker. The breakfasts were the highlight: fresh home-baked bread, local meats, and made-to-order meals. So indulgent and delicious, especially the scones. One evening the hosts even set us up with wood for a fire in the back fire pit. Staying here felt more like being with old friends. I’d absolutely recommend this charming B&B and hope to return.

I came to Belfast for a two-day seminar and now want to return for a slower visit. It’s a very cool town, and my stay at The Nightfall Inn was terrific. Kelly and John were warm hosts, and the renovations look gorgeous. Home-baked treats, tasty hot breakfasts, and complimentary sodas, water, and snacks added a homely touch. I’ll be sure to stay here again when I come back. Thanks so much!

Kelly was such a gracious host, and I loved my few days at The Nightfall Inn. The charming decor was lovely, but most of all she made me feel like a friend visiting. The footbridge into Belfast was a great perk too. Try it at sunset, it’s magical.

We slept better than we had in quite a while thanks to the mattress in our room. Everything was immaculately clean, and the rooms were nicely decorated. Kelly made us a five-star breakfast each morning, and our hosts were gracious and accommodating. It’s an easy walk via the Belfast footbridge to lots of restaurants, shops, and the waterfront park. We’re sold and will return as often as we can.
