Heritage Inn

The staff were delightful and helpful, and the Inn’s location is very convenient. This was my first visit to Cape May and the Heritage Inn, and I’d definitely return. Just be aware there’s no elevator if you have trouble with stairs. We’ll ask for a first-floor room next time.

We only stayed one night over Memorial Day weekend, but the clean room, comfortable bed, and great location made us very happy. The beach is just steps away, with shops and restaurants nearby. We also really liked the pool and the atmosphere on the rooftop. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, so our short visit was easy and pleasant. We’d consider coming back.

Leaving The Heritage Inn is making me sad. Everything was such a pleasant surprise: beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, up to date, and all in excellent working order. The staff were incredibly helpful, both in person and by phone. I’m even looking into moving my July reservation from another place to The Heritage Inn. We can’t wait to return.

The location is hard to beat. The beach is across the street, Washington Square Mall is an easy walk, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We’ve stayed at the Heritage Inn several times in both summer and spring, and the cozy, roomy-enough rooms have always been clean. There’s also a rooftop with incredible beach and ocean views. Gwen, the owner, is very sweet and always makes sure your stay is as good as it can be. My girlfriend and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape May.
