The Dormer Suite was roomy, quiet, and bright, with lovely views of the neighborhood and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious too. Noise between rooms was generally well controlled, though you could sometimes hear people while in the bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and served efficiently. You don’t choose the meal, but the chalkboard tells you what’s planned the night before. Getting hold of staff by phone or in person wasn’t always easy. Still, arrival was straightforward, so we rarely needed to reach anyone. This is a cozy, pleasant place with few interruptions or problems, rather than a warm, traditional BnB experience.

Beautiful, quiet, and easy to settle into. The Dormer Suite was spacious, clean, and nice, and the hot breakfast was delicious each morning. It’s an eight-minute walk to the main downtown area. We can’t wait to stay again.

The Mary Franklin room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable without a squeak. My wife and I spent two nights here and had a great time. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, and the afternoon cookies and tea were a nice extra. The location was excellent too, about a seven-minute walk to either the beach or the Washington Street shops. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

The Dormer House made a great base for our two-day siblings’ reunion in Cape May. There were five of us, and it was easy to arrange seating so we could eat breakfast together and sit as a group later in the evening. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea and treats, which were cookies for us. A special thank you to Nancy for her gracious hospitality, and a wave to fellow guests Jim and Joan for the fun conversations and friendship. Beth and Chuck Gordinier
