Even after moving to the “upgraded room,” there were problems: it was boiling hot because the AC/Heat didn’t work, the door seemed only halfway functional, and the toilet was barely attached to the floor. The first room was worse, with hair in several spots in the bathroom, washable graffiti and fingerprints on the mirrors, wipe marks everywhere, and curtains torn apart so they offered almost no privacy. It also seemed like people were smoking in their rooms. There was no one available to deal with this in person beyond a kiosk agent. We tried telling the person there, and phone service didn’t work in either room when we tried calling the front desk. The response later was to say staff had been alerted, but we’d already done that. The same complaints keep coming up, and these issues still aren’t being fixed. There are bedbugs too. Don’t stay here.

The staff were friendly, but I won’t stay here again after coming in from out of town. The pictures were misleading. My son had to change rooms because some of the doors looked as if they’d been kicked in. Curtains seemed thrown together with whatever was around, and the ceiling looked like it had recently leaked. There are several things that need replacing or fixing.

There’s no elevator, and although the TV and furniture were acceptable, the doors and curtains need replacing. The bathroom was dirty: the sink was coming off the wall, caulking had pulled away at the base of the toilet, there was mold in the floor corners, and what looked like toothpaste splatter from previous guests was on the walls. This didn’t feel like the advertised 3-star hotel. The price may work if you’re just stopping on a road trip and won’t be in and out much. We didn’t check out the breakfast. Wyndham should inspect its properties more closely, even the budget ones.

Victor, the kiosk desk clerk, was especially helpful late at night while dealing with three customers at once. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful, and the location was great for what I needed. My stay was perfectly fine, but there are reasons I might not return. I didn’t stay long enough to raise these with management and see if they could be fixed. The shower had almost no water pressure, bad enough that it could keep me from coming back. There was mold and peeling, cracked plaster on the ceiling above it. The towels smelled like they’d been stored somewhere people were frying with oil. None of those issues is enormous on its own, but the shower was a problem.
